Capstone Church Helena (“Capstone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through capstonehelena.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information, and we never will.

Information You Provide Directly
- Contact forms — When you reach out through our Contact page, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
- Ownership Class sign-up — When you register for the Ownership Class, we collect the registration details you provide (e.g., name and contact information).
- Online giving — When you give online through Church Center (powered by Planning Center), Planning Center collects your name, contact information, and payment details in order to process your donation. We receive giving records (donor name and amount) but Capstone does not store your card or bank account numbers — those are handled directly by Planning Center’s giving system.
- Capstone Kids check-in — When you check your child into Capstone Kids, we collect your child’s name and your (the guardian’s) contact information so we can safely match children with parents/guardians at pickup. This information is used solely for child safety and check-in purposes and is not used for marketing.
Information Collected Automatically
- Google Analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site (e.g., which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and general location and device information). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this data. This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can learn more about how Google collects and processes this data at Google’s Privacy & Terms site, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to questions and requests submitted through our forms
- Register you for classes and events
- Process and record donations
- Check children in and out of Capstone Kids safely
- Understand and improve how people use our Site
- Communicate with our church community about services, events, and ministry updates
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
We share information only with the following categories of service providers, who use it solely to provide the services listed below on our behalf:

Children’s Privacy
Protecting children is important to us. We collect only the minimum information necessary from parents/guardians (name, contact information, and a child’s name) to safely check children into and out of Capstone Kids. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the Site, and this information is not used for any marketing purpose.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law or standard church recordkeeping practices (for example, giving records for tax purposes).
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, and we rely on the security measures of the third-party platforms we use, including Planning Center and Google. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You may:
- Contact us at any time to ask what information we have on file for you, or to request that it be corrected or deleted (subject to recordkeeping requirements, such as for donation records)
- Opt out of Google Analytics tracking as described above
- Unsubscribe from email communications using the link provided in those emails, or by contacting us directly

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
